The template temptation
Ready made templates look like a shortcut: professional, cheap, and online today. They are genuinely a reasonable start for a very small budget, and we have nothing against them as a beginning.
The problem is not the template itself. It is that everyone in your industry is buying from the same pile, so your customers have already seen your website, on someone else's shop.
What purpose built design gives you
A design built for your business starts from what your customers need and what your brand stands for, not from a layout someone else wrote. The payoff is hard to measure but easy to feel: it looks intentional, it is laid out around your content, and it makes people trust it.
- Layout that follows your content, not vice versa.
- Visual language drawn from your brand and audience.
- Accessibility and details a template rarely ships with.
- A unique presence that is genuinely yours.
The honest cost picture
Our UI and UX design work starts around NPR 25,000 for a rapid sprint and ranges up for a full product design, and our graphic design identity packages start at NPR 15,000. Compared to building the brand twice because the first one was a template, it is usually the cheaper path.
You can also go in steps: start clean and small, then invest in a stronger identity as the business grows.
The middle path
Many businesses do not need to choose between everything custom and template as is. We often take a strong foundation, then shape the colours, typography, layout, and details until the result no longer looks like its source.
That adjustment is where a design stops being generic and starts representing you.
